What is Broker Access?
Broker Access is a standalone truckload capacity solution designed to help brokers of all sizes book, execute, track, and pay for loads digitally on one of the largest carrier networks. It offers real-time tracking, automated load booking, and integration with TMS systems, helping brokers increase productivity and grow their business.
How does Uber Freight evaluate and monitor carriers?
Uber Freight evaluates motor carrier safety based on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) motor carrier safety ratings. Carriers with an FMCSA safety rating of “conditional” or “unsatisfactory” are ineligible to join the Uber Freight platform.
For accepted carriers Uber Freight leverages its vast network of data, along with multiple third-party vendors in the fraud and compliance space, to screen and monitor compliance on an ongoing basis. Real-time, automated controls assess carrier standing, notify our team of bad actors, and automatically remove them from Uber Freight’s platform.
Are Uber Freight’s carriers insured?
All carriers must provide an insurance certificate validating Uber Freight’s contractually required auto liability and cargo liability coverage amount. Carrier auto liability insurance is validated to DOT requirements.
Can I integrate Broker Access with my other technology?
Yes, Broker Access offers pre-built TMS integrations and can be easily integrated with your existing carrier/broker TMS and other technology solutions via API or EDI.
Is Broker Access the same as Uber Freight’s Brokerage?
No, Broker Access is separate from Uber Freight’s Brokerage. While Uber Freight operates as a digital freight brokerage, Broker Access is a technology platform for brokers that allows them to access Uber Freight’s carrier network and book loads independently.
